How much TV do you usually watch in a day?
Today? 20 minutes. I watched the end of Lie to Me before surrendering the remote to a guy following March Madness.

Yum
Blueberry muffins on top and yellow cupcakes iced with whipped cream on the bottom.
Those who know me, know I bake. I bake a lot. Apparently I'm famous for my brownies? IDK
But some people suggested I start a tumblr for the stuff I bake...You know, another blog.
Ah, these more recent, ahem, delicacies were made for birthdays.
The blueberry muffins were for my cousin's birthday earlier this week. Mostly 'cause I had a bunch of blueberries that needed to be used before they got mouldy, heh. Nonetheless, all the butter gives them a cakey texture so they're wonderful to eat. Plus, the exploding berries look like purple watercolours soaking through the muffin.
I made yellow cake for the first time in my life for my mother's birthday (as per her request). Of course something usually goes wrong when you bake something the first time (unless you have someone who's made it before helping you along). Since the recipe called for a bajillion eggs I forgot to put couple and maybe some leavening agent. So they all didn't rise. Worst birthday present, yeah?
To cover up my miserable mistake, I had to run out and get even more heavy cream. ANYWAYS, I machine whisked it all into whipped cream, coloured a large portion of it green and filled the cups with enough of the stuff so that the cupcakes looked like they were normal sized. And then I piped leftover white frosting in floral designs taking inspiration from my mother's favourite place: her garden.
At least they look like they're worth it!

With my newish camera in hand, I can definitely take decent photos of my edible creations before they're scarfed down. Perhaps I'll post a recipe or two with my hints, knacks, and suggestions?
I just need incentive. Like small fan base that'll reblog my food to the far reaches of the internets!

Sounds feasible/interesting/yummy?

Some doodlesss
Click if they're cut off or you want to go in closer.
These were shot with with my Sony DSC-W350 and then fixed them up in Microsoft Windows Live Photo Gallery. Does it look better with a black background?
Left: Look, genie pants!
Top left: The way I've been wearing my hair now...makes me look rounder. Short hair seems to flatter narrower faces than mine. D:
Middle: Run run run
Bottom: Wrinkle cream! applied with thumb! Looking at it now, the pink girl seems to be applying ash to her own foreheard. Lent is on the brain, haha.
Right: And there's a ridiculously awkward pose in the shape of a teardrop. Kind of. o:
Aaaaaaaaaaaand I got a scanner!
More like a printer/fax machine/scanner but, it works, I tell ya! It's the Brother MFC 490 and I'm still figuring it out. But my new sketchbook on the other hand, it's so figured out, it has already fallen apart. Being the poor gal I am, I picked up the cheapest pad available and it wasn't ring-bound. saaaad, I know. But it has larger pages and that's an improvement over my last one.
Here's the first three pages!
Okay, the only thing 'ethnic' about this sprawl is the outfit at the bottom right. Which I think is Burmese or Malay. I'm prolly wrong. Of course those magnificent dancing baggy pants at the centre could be part of Mughal culture. That is, if I drew a blouse for the dancer. o.o
Yes, there's actually a plant where the leaves grow around the stem (palm leaves don't count; I see those all the time and these look cooler). This intricate thing is called a perfoliate.
Some Tron: Legacy stuff and a random yoga person I drew last month. (Music by Daft Punk? Hellz yeah!)
Just some things I doodled during a guitar lesson last Thursday. No, I don't play guitar, haha.
That top left doodle is what I WISH my haircut looked like but my mother thought otherwise. She also thought of pulling out all my grey hairs. Why I couldn't just dye 'em purple is beyond me. She's mostly grey and she dyes her head black all the time, ha!
My friend's teacher brought up columns while talking about music nomenclature and so I drew the three basic ones from memory. At the top is Ionic; the simple one is Doric and the fancy schmancy one is Corinthian.
And then there's the assorted expected doodles everywhere. *shrug*

I've finished some requests in the last few days.

This took forever to do! Okay, more like 4+ hours since I had to do some research for the gun and I'm just not used to drawing guys, period. Did most of the agonising lineart and colouring last night, ahahaaaaa*sigh*.
You can watch much of the process here: Jjetty livestream.
A LOT OF TIME in oC + intuos4 and hp mouse for sketching and colouring
If Kero's Ink was all growed up...she'd look like this! x3
I just wanted to draw a lady wearing a dress with a sweet heart neckline, haha. She's into the whole water-power-thing so I gave her bracelets that help her command water? And there's that cop-out of a background. This was a thank you gift for Kero since she drew me all pretty. If you want her to draw something for you....slots are full. sadface! But check out her journal for details and for when slots open up.

Sparkly
Some oC fun, drew this in an hour. I used a reference in the beginning but it was just a link so it's long gone. I finished this up a bit in this broadcast.
That sun flare sucks, ahhhhh. By the time I realised my mistake I couldn't undo all the brushstrokes so I left it as is.

Did some more Gaia arts in the last month or so. Check out my livestream (the link on the side) for the various broadcasts drawing some of these.
Drawn in MS Paint or openCanvas. All of them belong to their respective users. (c) Gaiaonline
Oh! I'm taking music suggestions for future livestreams; just comment on this or leave me a message on whatever site you know me from. I like all kinds of music except country and most rap... I really don't want to keep playing the same music each time. I love taking suggestions from whoever stops by during my broadcasts but seeing that I've a teeny tiny audience each time, I suppose it isn't a big deal.
